What they wanted

Kirk Christiansen wanted to invest in a beautiful, modern, and functional solution for the underutilized walk-in closet he shares with his girlfriend, Jen Norman. They’d just completed a major renovation of their first home together, so they wanted something that felt special and also met both of their closet organization needs.

Concept

How we did it

Kirk and Jen worked with California Closets design consultant Kelly Higgins to configure The Everyday System™ to their needs. Together, they figured out how to embrace the constraints of the smaller closet while designing in plenty of hanging space, drawers, and shelving behind mesh doors, and a shared shoe tower.

The couple selected the Perry St. White Woodgrain finish and Gold metal to go with their contemporary, mid-century style. The combo worked beautifully with their new flooring and other finishes.
