 If you don’t love absolutely love it, you can return it for free! We accept returns within 30 days of delivery only. Please note, the product MUST also be returned in the original packaging. Otherwise, we won’t be able to process your return. Refunds will only be issued in the original form of payment. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. There will be no re-stocking fee on accepted returned product.

How to Return California Closets Accessories (California Closets Essentials & Everyday Collection)

 Not 100% satisfied? Simply follow these quick and easy steps to return your item. Please make sure you are within 30 days of delivery—we can’t accept returns after 30 days!

 Step 1 – Find your Order # (Reference your Order Confirmation email or check the shipping label)

Step 2 –  To create a Return Shipping Label, enter your Order # and email address here.

Step 3 – Ship the product back in the original packaging

Step 4 – Once we receive your returned product at our warehouse, our team will inspect the item(s). Provided item(s) are in good condition, we will issue your refund in the original form of payment. If you were charged outbound shipping, you will be refunded the price of the product but not any shipping charges. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for processing.

How to Initiate a Return for an Everyday System Modular Purchase:

If you decide The Everyday SystemTM isn’t the perfect fit, follow the steps outlined below to make a return. The return process is slightly different for purchases of The Everyday SystemTM

Note: All purchases made directly through our website must be processed through the website; our showrooms are not able to process returns.

Step 1:  Call 866.215.7730 or email us at customer-service@calclosets.com. Please have the following information ready:

  • Order Number
  • First Name / Last Name
  • Reason for Return


Step 2: Our Customer Service Team will process your request and send you a free return shipping label(s). You should expect to hear back from us within 1 business day.

Step 3: Safely package The Everyday SystemTM product(s) in the original packaging and drop it with the appropriate carrier (FedEx or UPS, depending on your return label). You will be responsible for getting the return product to the carrier.

Step 4: Once we receive your returned product at our warehouse, our team will inspect the item(s). Provided item(s) are in good condition, we will issue your refund in the original form of payment. If you were charged outbound shipping, you will be refunded the price of the product but not any shipping charges. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for processing. There is no additional charge for the return shipping. 

How to Replace or Refund a Damaged or Defective Item

Our top priority is making your experience as smooth and seamless as possible. If the item you ordered has any issue whatsoever, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your item at 866.215.7730 or email us at customer-service@calclosets.com. Be sure to have the following information:

  • Order Number
  • First Name / Last Name
  • Explanation of damage/defect
  • Photo of damaged/defected item(s)

 Upon receiving notification of a claim, our Customer Service Team will follow up with you within 2 business days to make arrangements for a replacement or refund as necessary. No restocking fees or return shipping costs will apply.

Are Exchanges Accepted?

While we cannot facilitate exchanges, customers may return a product and purchase a different one.
